Seven Sentence Patterns Exercise

1. Subject-Be-Adverbial:

"I am in the classroom."

2. Subject-Be-Subject Complement:

"I am bored."

3. Subject-Linking Verb-Subject Complement:

"My stomach feels hungry."

4. Subject-Intransitive Verb:

"I yawned."

5. Subject-Transitive Verb-Direct Object:

"Professor Fornes has energy."

6. Subject-Transitive Verb-Indirect Object-Direct Object

"I went to the store for gas."

7. Subject-Transitive Verb-Direct Object-Object Complement:

"I think my head is tired."

H.C. I enjoyed your introduction of yourself. You did a great job using the seven sentence patterns. For instance, I liked how you arrange your sentences the same way as Professor Fornes.
